@MattRKay I say “you get what you put into it” the more time you spend invested in raising your kids while they are young. You benefit in the long run. I spent 10-15 mins each night talking with my girls separately on top of the family things we do each night. Now at 22 & 18 we still talk.

Occasionally I have a parent conference where I just wanna ask how they raised such awesome kids. I legit want tips. How you bring up such a confident, smart, kind, hard working, fun kid? A scholar but not a grade grubber? A kid that CARES about stuff? Drop the details plz 🤣

Had a tremendous time celebrating these two wonderful ladies’ birthdays last night. Lots of friends, stories, and laughs had by all.

@Sflecce Why is it that every time something like this happens, the answer is, we need to change/add to the curriculum? It’s always, “let teachers teach this?” Are teachers expected to change all that is wrong in society? Parents? Take the time to talk to your kids! Parents #1 teacher.

It's clear that our country would immeasurably benefit from *mandatory* Holocaust education in all schools, from coast to coast to coast. Now more than ever. #NeverAgain must be more than a hashtag. It must be a national imperative embraced through education - so that we actually learn from history.

Why would he even want to defend teachers at this time? They put the curriculum into place. Now they sit back and watch people beat down the moral of teachers.

This is brilliant. I am looking forward to meeting our 29 new JK/SK students in 2 weeks. Teaching them how to line up and walk in the halls is one of my favourite things. It’s hilarious.

@gator_gum Government is stalling. They promised parents that kids would be in school with extracurricular activities this year. Therefore they will take their sweet time.

Have education workers ever gone am entire year working without a contract? I thought Lecce and Ford were "at the table" back in August? How are those negotiations going folks?

Our class loves DJ Raphi too. We do DPA every day. A few times a day. Not only do they get go exercise, but they follow directions, work on their gross motor skills and have fun!!!

That is amazing. So excited that she was able to share today.

This group of students are so awesome. They always cheer each other on. They truly are a family. Proud of each and every one of them.

@TownofTecumseh walking my dog today on Centennial and he steps into one of these holes. Luckily he was going slow & I could get his leg out before he got hurt or broke it. No pylons around to mark these hazards. I also noticed these on Woodbridge.
