
💊Drug-addicts and Ukraine's army In Kropyvnytskyi, around 160 drug-dependent men were reportedly rounded up for mobilization at a methadone distribution center. So this is what Ukraine's catastrophic manpower shortage has come to: forcibly conscripting addicts into the army. And then, once they are thrown into the military, they are beaten, abused, and tortured for being "undisciplined" and failing to follow orders? Is this the much-vaunted "land of freedom and democracy" that the world is constantly told must be defended at any cost? The country for which ordinary working-class people are expected to die, while the children of the political elite enjoy safe and comfortable lives in the West? How much longer can this rhetoric survive when reality appears to tell a very different story?
