@sarahfrier @ben_streiter @Facebook Besides that, Facebook’s algorithm and ROAS levels for most ad accounts are nowhere near where they used to be. People have become dependent, and Facebook is worried about politics, and not the small businesses they claim to “support”.

@newstyledig @ben_streiter @Facebook Yep I’ve heard that over and over in my conversations. No transparency, no recourse, and people moving to Google but that’s not where their community is, so it’s less effective.

Facebook has said again and again that small businesses are relying on them to get through covid. That’s true, and also devastating when these small businesses get their ad accounts mistakenly banned ahead of the most important shopping season. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

@sarahfrier @ben_streiter @Facebook Agreed. However, I’m sure a lot of advertisers would rather be on a platform that can sustain and is backed by tech support (at minimum), then to be left in the cold on the biggest sale week of the year.

@sarahfrier @ben_streiter No reason. @Facebook business support chat just said “wait longer” and they have no reasoning they are aware of, besides their AI system flagged the BM for “policy violations”. Their whole system is unreliable, and I see FB advertisers moving to Google.

@robleathern @robleathern Thousands of Social Media Advertising businesses and agencies have their BMs and Ad accounts restricted. Yet, zero ads ran that had to do with the election or politics. This includes MY entire Business Manager. DO SOMETHING!! @Facebook @fb_engineering @fbplatform

Without warning, @Facebook restricted my company ad account, and they state that it could take WEEKS to get a response. What fresh hell is this? Is this really how they treat their paying customers? The money I was paying to Facebook, I’ll allocate to Google instead.
