i know twitter has a way of eroding perspective and empathy. if you're reading this and you're one of the women who left sickening comments about this story, i'd really urge you to take a step back and maybe a break from social media.

you people honestly think that a man lost his wife and spent 8 weeks in the NICU with a 2lb premature baby and that was a walk in the park for him? that it was somehow selfish of him that his wife died while pregnant? what the fuck is wrong with you all?

the responses to the instagram post about the man whose wife became braindead while pregnant are honestly unhinged. he did nothing wrong. i've really had enough.
