In 2021 everyone was a collector. In 2026 you find out who actually was.

Lambos depreciate. Watches can be faked. A clean ENS name tells a story nobody can copy.

In 2009 people mined Bitcoin and deleted their wallets. Not because they were stupid. Because they didn't understand what they were holding. Clean ENS names are sitting unclaimed right now for the same reason.

@Walodja1987 A bank account number isn't yours. The bank owns it. They assign it. They can close it. Your ENS name is yours. Different category entirely.

@Walodja1987 In everything in life you have to renew stuff. Your passport. Your insurance. Your subscriptions. That's not a flaw in ENS. That's just how ownership works.

I think people start to understand what they are holding and for that reason don’t by ENS names. Expiring bank account identifiers are simply wrong for financial infrastructure. Forgot to renew and your next salary payment goes to a stranger. That’s not how the future of Ethereum looks like. I’m sorry for you that you don’t get it.
