Indeed, NFT aren't stocks, and it's a good thing that we realize it nowadays Regarding the Punk marketplace, it was the only way to trade the original erc20, it could explain why collectors kept their habits. If a new innovation emerges, the «all-in-one» package should be created again ^^

@nft18_reporting I've been wondering about this a lot recently. The majority of collections since '21 (basically the majority of collections too) have been hard core focused on daily volume - trying to make NFTs stocks. But they're not; hence the memecoin boom. I wonder if it can be done again.

Before Art Blocks appeared on the NFT market in 2021, Autoglyphs was the only reference for generative art. Since Q3 2021, the "hold" period before resale has been multiplied by 5, demonstrating a strong attachment to the artworks but also difficulties in reselling because this market has greatly expanded! Answers below 👇 nft18.com/reports/nobody… 💡 KEY INFORMATIONS - 10K NFT sold out @ 0.195 ($513) - 13K ETH in 2 weeks - 1 market focus: Asia - 2 months of pre-drop marketing - 50+ million reach on social media via their partners & friends 📣 MARKETING PLAYBOOK The marketing strategy was mostly centered around massive partners, influence and a bit of "usual" Web3 levers (AMA, Whitelist, collaboration with communities). All of this combined in only 2 months of communication Blitz. 📉 DUMPERS VS. HOLDERS The project experienced very strong selling pressure in its early days, with a ratio of 70% of Primary market buyers dumping all their assets within 2 weeks. Despite a powerful marketing campaign, the project was not supported by the initial community.
