@CryptoLesha I minted a few @nft2040 crates two years ago which was exactly what you're saying. No idea what happened tho, but I remember they were putting out some very good gameplay trailers. Truth is, they might have been too early for that.

gm ☕ What nft game are you most bullish on currently? Is there even one that's particularly on your radar? When will someone just build a cs-go copy that would let us use our pfp's in-game and fight over some rare skins, artifact's or just eth? Is it that hard?

1/ Why Helix Metaverse is a big scam, [PART 1] As many of you have already noticed, the gameplay videos published by this team are almost exclusively from the ue5 city template. (the building layout is procedurally generated using Houdini)

@breed_fi Also, there is much more involved than just wireframes and textures, such as animations, physics/collisions, VFX, source code - controllers, and tons of other things

@breed_fi Yes, but this does not qualify as interoperability. Although they collaborate to obtain the right to use the IP, they create everything from scratch. Every Fortnite character is specifically designed to function only within their game and not for interoperability with other games

I have an idea around a web 3 “Open NFT” SDK protocol that I think would really help advance the space and bring us closer to an actual Metaverse like Ready Player 1. The teams most likely to pull it off would be: @fractalwagmi @elixir_launcher @MagicEden @opensea @BluMint_

@breed_fi This could work for simple games, almost impossible for most complex modern games. The technology is not there.

The technology is there to do all of this. We just need a simple NFT SDK that has baseline characters available through an NFT marketplace or launcher to make all of this happen. Wen Metaverse??

@GaspodeWD Yes. Ownership is a legal concept. You can offer the exact same level of ownership without blockchain technologies. (technical fact)

A web2 game allows you to trade and rent your in game assets without using the blockchain, does that equate to the same level of ownership as a web3 game with same freedoms? If not why?

When token price of good game goes down it means weak handed seed investors selling. When token price forms a flat bottom it means players buy enough to balance out investors selling Then it grows when players outweigh investor selling Then it skyrockets on mass adoption

@NFT_GOD Main issue of web3 gaming is they sell to investors and speculators, not gamers. It's not an issue of marketing, it's about business strategy.

In-engine footage = Unreal Engine = Literally every game trailer is in-engine footage lol
