Reflection | Part 2 From CryptoPunks to Heidi Bucher — and it all makes perfect sense. Seeing Museum of Modern Art welcoming Heidi Bucher into its collection feels deeply right. From pixel bodies and digital identities to fragile, tactile skins and water-based forms — this is one continuous conversation about presence, the body, and transformation. At CityX, we’ve always believed that digital-native art and radical feminist, material practices are not opposites — they are connected by the same questions: Who are we? How do we inhabit space? What traces do we leave behind? From on-chain avatars to latex, textile, water, and skin — history doesn’t break, it expands. Welcome to the canon, Heidi 🖤 And yes — this is exactly the bridge CityX stands for. . . #CityXFoundation #CityXFoundationCollection #CryptoPunks #DigitalArt #PixelArt #PhygitalArt #ArtAndTechnology #ContemporaryArt #MoMA #FromBlockchainToMuseum

Heidi Bucher (1926–1993) | Part 1 Swiss artist and a radical pioneer of feminist and material-based art. Heidi Bucher is best known for her Bodyshells — latex and textile “skins” peeled from architectural interiors, furniture, and objects. Her practice explored memory, trauma, domestic space, and the body as a site of inscription long before these conversations entered the mainstream. Alongside architecture, water played a central role in her artistic thinking — not as landscape, but as a charged metaphor for transformation, embodiment, and release from fixed forms. Water and the dragonfly recur in her work as symbols of shedding, metamorphosis, and renewal. ➤ In the CityX Foundation Collection: Heidi Bucher — Wasserstock (Waterstick), 1977 A powerful voice that continues to resonate — now entering new institutional and digital conversations. . . #CityXFoundation #CityXFoundationCollection #HeidiBucher #FeministArt #MaterialArt #WaterAsMetaphor #BodyAndSpace #ArtHistory #WomenInArt #AvantGardeArt #MuseumCollections #MoMA

✨ Merry Christmas and a brilliant New Year! 🎄 Warmest holiday wishes to our friends, collaborators, and community. Thank you for being part of the CityX Foundation journey 💎 2025 was a year in motion: from @ZonaMaco with Tetiana Malinovska, to curating the first Web3 Nude Photography Auction, to Art Busan 2025 with a tribute to David Lynch and digital presentations bridging physical and digital art worlds. As our founder @asusha_asya shares: “CityX Foundation began as a personal journey between heritage and discovery. Rooted in my family’s collection of Ukrainian and international avant-garde, it supports fragile art and explores phygital experiences that change how art is felt and shared. For me, this is where the next generation finds its voice in cultural evolution..” 🚤 Looking ahead: We’re proud to announce our two-day CityX Foundation Program during the Venice Biennale, May 7–8, 2026 — with curated conversations, special guests, and a few surprises. More details coming soon, first for our community. Thank you for being part of this story - and this is only the beginning. Sharing winter holiday love 💖 CityX Foundation ✨

🖋️ Oleg Mitasov (1953–1999) | Part 1 Born in Karlovy Vary (then Czechoslovakia), his family later moved to Kharkiv. Mitasov became a legendary figure in the city’s cultural landscape. Starting in the mid-1980s, he created writings and inscriptions directly on walls, building facades, and in stairwells — turning the city itself into a vast canvas for his creativity. His apartment also became a total work of art: every surface was covered with words, symbols, and graphic elements. He is considered one of the first Ukrainian figures associated with street art, though he never saw himself as a vandal — every word and sign carried meaning and intent.

🌟 Boris Redko (b. 1959) | Part 2 Little is known about Boris Redko, born in Kharkiv, he worked as a photographer and was deeply connected to the city’s underground art scene. A graduate of NTU “KhPI” (Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute), he remains one of the lesser-known yet symbolic figures of the Kharkiv artistic community. •⌇►In the CityX Foundation Collection: Zayka (1990) | Fiberboard, oil, nitro paint, acrylic | 70 × 50 cm This work is part of the Vovatanya Gallery collection and is also included in the CityX Foundation holdings — bridging the city’s cultural legacy and the foundation’s mission. 💫 Zayka became one of the key symbols of our first Kharkiv Avant-Garde Digital Drop, marking the foundation’s debut in the digital art space. __ #BorisRedko #CityXFoundation #CityXCollection #KharkivAvantGarde #UkrainianArt #FragileArt #VovatanyaGallery #DigitalDrop #CityXDigital

Sergey Bratkov | Artist Portrait 🎭 Sergey Bratkov (b. 1960, Kharkiv, Ukraine) is one of the most significant voices in contemporary Ukrainian and Eastern European art. Now based in Berlin, Bratkov’s multidisciplinary practice spans photography, painting, installation, video, and performance. Combining documentary methods with conceptual strategies, his works explore identity, vulnerability, and the emotional imprints of post-Soviet transition. Over the years, he has shaped a new generation of artists — both through his artistic vision and his twelve years of teaching. Bratkov has represented Ukraine at major international exhibitions: • Venice Biennale (2003, 2005, 2007) • São Paulo Biennale (2002) • Manifesta 5 (2004) 🖼️ Solo exhibitions include: • Kunstmuseum, Magdeburg • S.M.A.K., Ghent • Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead • Photomuseum Winterthur • Haus der Photographie, Deichtorhallen, Hamburg • PinchukArtCentre, Kyiv 🗂️ His works are included in prestigious public and private collections such as Centre Pompidou, Pinault Collection, FRAC, and PinchukArtCentre. ✨ Sergey Bratkov is one of the core artists in the CityX Foundation Collection. We’re proud to present his work in upcoming exhibitions and collaborations — reflecting our mission to preserve and champion Fragile Art: art shaped by cultural disruption, memory, and resistance. __ #SergeyBratkov #UkrainianArt #CityXFoundation #FragileArt #DocumentaryArt #ContemporaryPhotography #PostSovietArt #ArtAndPolitics

Sergey Bratkov in the CityX Collection 🧩 Bratkov’s art often uncovers the surreal, absurd, and emotionally charged layers of everyday life — particularly within the psychological and cultural landscapes of post-Soviet Ukraine. His images move fluidly between tenderness and provocation, elevating intimate human moments into broader political and social metaphors. He frequently captures children, soldiers, and ordinary figures as emblems of deeper structural change — contrasting external appearances with complex inner realities. ➤ In the CityX Foundation Collection: Sex Shop. Red Bunny from the series Kiss my Google (2016) → Photography and collage This work reflects Bratkov’s exploration of digital desire, constructed identity, and the absurdities of consumerism — a hallmark of his visual language that blends sharp critique with playful subversion. __ #SergeyBratkov #CityXCollection #KissMyGoogle #ContemporaryArt #UkrainianArt #Photography #PostSovietArt #FragileArt #CityXFoundation
