Jason Aldean walked off the set of Late Night with Stephen Colbert before playing a single note after the “comedian” tried to humiliate him in front of the audience.
“Colbert was introducing him,” said Aldean's manager, Ben Jarroo. “Then he made a crass, unnecessary statement about ‘forgiving him’ for supporting President Trump. Jason wasn’t having it.”
When Colbert said his name and motioned for the curtain, there was nobody there. Aldean and his band had walked off—and they won’t be coming back.

The Texas Republican detailed the brutal realities of the Jim Crow South, sharing how his own father had to walk to the back of a restaurant in New Orleans just to order food because of the color of his skin.
"That was Jim Crow," Hunt said. "And that is precisely why it is so offensive to compare that era of legalized discrimination and racial terror to showing a photo ID in a voting booth."

He immediately let her sit in his patrol car, bought her cheeseburgers (made it a full meal), treated her with total dignity, and personally drove her to a treatment center.
In a world full of negative cop stories, this is the kind of quiet humanity we need more of. One officer saw a broken person asking for help and actually showed up like a human being.
Respect. Small acts like this can literally save lives.
