The NHL has kind of lost the plot for me. If you listen to, like, an exec or whoever talk about a team they refer to its “market” - never a city, town or community. People watch sports because they want to feel a part of a culture, and there’s no culture in a “market”

between blackouts, rights split across sportsnet & tsn, and how simply *god awful* their streaming apps are, it’s pretty much impossible to legally watch your team (or any team) play. I’ve tried. It’s not worth it.

@chadlpaquet @jmlane I adored the game, but agree that mechanic was frustrating. I will say, though, once things got rolling I never felt in short supply of replacement weapons. Just kept dumping slightly used for fresh finds. My carbon footprint might be a bigger threat to Hyrule than Ganon …

@jmlane I tried to play BotW at a point where I had bad open world burnout. The weapons breaking just made me walk away, I do play on Revisiting it this year hopefully though.

Am I irrationally angry at the BotW weapon durability discourse because I feel like I'm being belittled for not being able to appreciate the overall game design? Or is it because I haven't been sleeping and I've been rationing my SSRIs?
