Driving NH Infrastructure Growth Across India! Also, the Capital Expenditure by NHAI in Financial Year 2025-26 for development of National Highway Infrastructure was at Rs. 2,44,362 Crores. The capital expenditure for the Financial Year is about 2.5% higher than the Government Budgetary Support of Rs. 2,38,384 Crores. NHAI Signs MoU with @iitrpr for Enhancing National Highway in Hilly Terrains NHAI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Ropar at its Headquarters in New Delhi for providing expert consultancy on slope protection, landslide mitigation, and river training works in Himachal Pradesh. NHAI continues to strengthen its asset monetisation efforts, realising over ₹28,300 crore in FY 2025–26 through InvIT and TOT models. As part of this achievement, NHAI has successfully realised InvIT Round-5 for ₹6,366.93 crore, covering over 310 km of National Highway stretches across Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. The assets have been awarded for a 20-year concession period under the InvIT framework, reflecting strong investor confidence in India’s highway infrastructure and long-term growth potential. NHAI has successfully realised Toll-Operate-Transfer (TOT) Bundle-18 for ₹3,087 crore, further advancing its asset monetisation programme.
