@IrishRail Is there also a decades old problem with the overhead electricity feed between the Fairview Depot and Connolly station, forcing the trains to stop/start and crawl at low speed?
@IrishRail 1% stop at the Depot to change drivers mid journey south. This does not explain why the trains slow to a crawl, stop and restart/stop again. If the driver knows in Clontarf Rd that trains on the Maynooth line need priority, then the Bray/Gstones trains should wait in Clontarf Rd
@IrishRail Can you explain why all trains heading south between Clontarf Road and Connolly slow down, stop, restart, stop, restart from the train depot? This has been happening for decades and I've never understood why
@monaghanroad@IrishRail The real reason is Fairview Depot staff convenience themselves by not walking back the short distance to a platform in Clontarf Rd to board a train. The mgmt need to end this practice once and for all.
@IrishRail@niallhcd Why do crew changes not occur at Clontarf Road station or at Connolly. Stopping on congested infrastructure is a really poor idea and causes significant avoidable delays and degrades the capacity.
Christopher Nolan recounts the first time his wife Emma Thomas read the script of Memento and how she helped him improve it:
“I always remember Emma reading the script of Memento for the first time. Every now and again she would stop reading, turn back a few pages to check something with a frustrated sigh, and then start reading again. She did that many, many times before she got to the end. She had a very clear-eyed view of how it worked, what worked about it, what didn’t. She’s very, very clear on what the audience are capable of taking in and when you’re just spinning your wheels. She’s always been extremely helpful to me in terms of pointing out areas where I’m sacrificing clarity.”

As a long-time New Yorker, I still can’t get over Mamdani.
How the fvck does a foreigner who’s never held a real job walk around with massive security guards, preach communism, and be on the verge of taking over the financial capital of the world?
@IrishRail Where's the Malahide Dart due @ 5.10pm from Blackrock? Your website said it was due but the overhead sign says next Malahide train due in 21 mins...

@IrishRail Good morning Irish Rail. For some reason, only the electronic timetable sign on the southbound platform in Clongriffin is showing no trains due. Any reason why?
@shornKOOMINS@ShaneLowryGolf So was mine, I had to stand up off the couch as my heart was pounding loudly as Henley was about to take his putt until Shane holed his...I'm sure both players were the same
@IrishRail However opened Clongriffin Dart station this morning appears to have forgotten to open the north facing stairs to platform for passengers, no tape blocking the platform stairs entry point. Can it be re-opened, or all passengers have to funnel through 1 staircase. Tks
@IrishRail What is wrong with Irish Rail? Can't you update your website when there is a signalling fault?? I could have made alternative arrangements??
@IrishRail I've walked to Clongriffin as your app states next Dart at 2.10pm, but the platform sign days 22 mins before train to Connolly only. Why is the app incorrect?? Is the Dart @ 2.10pm on it's way??
