This afternoon, Our Managing Director of NIC General Insurance, Mr. Edu Elias, alongside the Director of Marketing, Madam Jocelyn Ucanda, and the Chief Finance Officer, Mr. Anthony Lubega ACCA - CFA, officially flagged off the @NicNetballClub team to Nairobi, Kenya, ahead of the 2026 East African Netball Championship. The flag-off ceremony was a moment of encouragement and appreciation for the team’s remarkable journey and continued dominance in regional netball. As the reigning East African champions, NIC Netball Club travels into the tournament with confidence, determination, and a strong desire to defend the title they proudly brought home. In his remarks our MD, applauded the players and technical team for their discipline, teamwork, consistency, and commitment, noting that the club continues to embody the values of excellence, resilience, and professionalism both on and off the court. He also reaffirmed NIC Insurance’s unwavering support towards sports development and nurturing talent that inspires communities across Uganda and the region. The tournament is expected to bring together some of East Africa’s top netball clubs, providing a competitive platform for talent, sportsmanship, and regional unity through sport. A courtesy visit that carried nearly three decades of shared history 🤝 The Chairperson of The Tax Appeals Tribunal of Uganda, Ms. Crystal Kabajwara, together with the Registrar, Ms. Rachel Kisakya, paid us a special visit at NIC Insurance Uganda.
