@kylem_dev I agree that it's not very easy to reach people who are willing to build SaaS with Java. I'm 100% sure there is a good market, but not easy to reach. I don't know thanks for sharing, I'll add it there. I've also submitted it in some other boilerplate directory websites 🙏

I've been sharing about my newly released product in some sub reddits. Regardless it wasn't violating any rules, it got removed by moderators 😔

@kylem_dev Yes it is. I agree that I need some videos to explain the product and show some hands on work on it But I’m still surprised with the interaction the website got. I’m curious if that means there is no market fit? I don’t think so, there has to be hundreds of thousands ppl like me

@nicklessman3 Your product is a SaaS boilerplate for Java right? One idea I can think of is making a reddit post in a Java community about how to integrate Java with stripe with code examples included. You can plug your solution at the end of the post or in the comments

People think that AI will replace devs in 1-2 years probably never seen a really big codebase or system of some big companies…

Does anyone know why exactly twitterrific and other 3rd party clients of X was shutdown? I mean there are still X APIs regardless they are more expensive. Was that the only problem though?

@OliverRiechert hey Oliver, I noticed there's no Java category yet—would love to see one. I just launched my Java boilerplate, easyShip (easyship.pro), which streamlines SaaS dev. It’d be amazing to list it under a new Java category. Thanks for such awesome platform! 🚀

2 months on/off, I’m finally announcing an early release of easyShip – a Java/Spring Boot boilerplate 🌿 After 4 products, I’ve crafted a reusable MVP boilerplate for SaaS products. Check it out: easyship.pro Feedbacks welcome! 🎉

Java is overkill for SaaS? If you see this, just scroll past or move on. it’s the same for any language. People make $30k+ MRR literally with a single index.php file Use what works for you. What matters is the product

@luizcamargodev Looks like a great tool, congrats! Have you already launched the product somewhere? I’m reckoning that gonna sell quick. I really wonder what mrr such a good product would provide

@kylem_dev Companies couldn’t even migrate their shitty tech stack to java for decades 😅😅

I work at a big tech company and I would say 90% of people are completely clueless of AI’s coding ability beyond tab completion and basic ChatGPT I think it would take at least 5 years to dramatically change the dev workflow here

According to X today I should quit programming and pivot to electrician 😂 In all seriousness all the people claiming that swes will be unemployable in 2 years vastly underestimate how long it will take campanies to leverage AI properly
