Years ago, I wrote about Tyrone Hood, a Chicago man in jail for a murder he didn't commit: t.ly/3QYWY. After @NewYorker published the piece, Hood was released and later exonerated. He sued Chicago and has just been awarded a $17.5M settlement: t.ly/MvwGF
