@st3v381 @BoothCricket Which kind of proves my point! They’re bottom and we haven’t had the privilege of playing them. As for Leicester, Surrey couldn’t beat them. Yorkshire who we played best Somerset and to cap it off we beat Warwickshire. Your argument has a fair few holes..

@BoothCricket Bit of context, you have played 3 of there games against the bottom 3 and only 2 against top 7. The fixture system is a shambles and results in an unfair championship

@RichAbson Oh Rich. Do you think I’d have put a scoreboard up with him doing so well if I had meant what I said above it. That’s why understanding punctuation matters!!!

So when Russia attacks Ukraine the world is outraged. Trump attacks Venezuela, it’s liberation. Trump attacks Iran, it’s i don’t know wtf (obvs for Israel). Israel commits genocide against Palestinians, its self defence. Do we see the problem?

I will always stand alongside my medical colleagues campaigning for fair pay and conditions. I will always stand against role substitution. I will always stand for full restoration of NHS funding and all NHS wages. I will always stand for my profession and for advanced nursing practice. We are a team. We need all of the MDT together to see the NHS at its best. No more substitution. No more division. No more austerity.

Today in Parliament, Keir Starmer set out the position on vetting with clarity, stating that neither he nor any minister in the Labour Party had been informed of the concerns in question. He addressed the matter directly, including the circumstances surrounding the individual linked to Epstein who was removed once serious failings came to light. Crucially, he also stated that a senior official within the Home Office had advised that such vetting information could not be shared with him. If that is accurate, it raises serious questions about process and accountability. It is difficult to accept that a Prime Minister could be constrained in that way on matters of this sensitivity, and it points to a deeper structural issue within the system itself. Amid the usual noise and theatrics, his tone stood apart. He appeared sincere and answered the questions put before him. Many will recognise that what has unfolded bears the hallmarks of a broader political effort, driven by opposition forces, elements of big business, and voices on the far right, aimed at weakening the first Labour Prime Minister in fourteen years. For my part, I accept what he said. Not because he claims perfection, but because his record shows he has faced questions in public and not stepped away from accountability. No one in business or politics gets everything right, but that willingness matters. There is, at present, no clear alternative within the party who commands greater public confidence. Angela Rayner does not yet carry the necessary authority for such a role, and Andy Burnham has sought the leadership before without success. To attempt to remove the current leader now would be a serious misjudgement. The wider context cannot be ignored. The focus on the Epstein material, while serious, risks becoming a distraction from the immediate task of rebuilding the country. The United Kingdom must use this period to re establish its direction, with a more pragmatic alignment with Europe increasingly important. It also raises a fair question as to precedent. When James Cleverly held senior office in the Home Office, was he similarly restricted from receiving such vetting information, or is this an inconsistency in how the system operates? That point alone may warrant further scrutiny. Nigel Farage offers a fundamentally different path. The Conservative Party, under Kemi Badenoch, appears diminished and uncertain, struggling to present a coherent alternative. Their leader comes across as persistently complaining, circling the same arguments, and shifting position on key issues rather than offering clear direction. The country cannot remain stuck in a cycle of accusation and counter accusation. If no new substance emerges, this matter should now be brought to a close so attention can return to governing and moving forward.

Poor @SamCoatesSky - he must be so disappointed that Keir Starmer told the truth, didn't mislead Parliament, hasn't been forced out and didn't resign. In fact he came out of that session stronger and with more support than ever.

Brilliant by Starmer 100% on his brief. Obviously honest. He didn’t know. And like everything else, he’s fixed it. Badenoch opines about correcting the record when Johnson took months and still didn’t. You’ve lost again. Get over it. @SkyNews
