Wow @AVA_airasia @airasia placed my 6 year old child in a seat on his own, then tried to charge me to put us together even though there are available seats together. Is that even legal?

#HayyaCard is a disaster. Traveling in 48 hours, everything booked and uploaded. Card still pending, call centre have no clue, no response on email. Lots of fans in same position. Do I still travel to Qatar? #WorldCup2022 #hayya_pending #roadto2022en #FIFAWorldCupQatar2022

@nicktinkercc I just missed my flight because this small country can’ orgnise a big event like this .. i have paid for everything and no body is willing to pay me back not only they deprived us from attending the world cup they also stole our money !!!

@nondeplume @mrdanlaws @roadto2022en @dumplingfolife I had a different issue, no change in accommodation, it was just pending after I had uploaded everything to Hayya (via ‘other platforms’ upload). In my experience, persistent calling to Hayya until you reach someone who seems to be willing to help is the only way to resolve

@nicktinkercc @mrdanlaws @roadto2022en @dumplingfolife Hi Nick - was your issue a change of accommodation? I am in a similar boat. My previously approved Hayya Card is now showing up rejected (I assume) because I was forced to make a change to my hotel booking due to Qatar being unable to fulfil it.

@Fao042 @mrdanlaws @roadto2022en @dumplingfolife You need to call Hayya directly on +974 4441 2002 and get them to escalate to technical team in order to fast track the approval

@mrdanlaws @roadto2022en @dumplingfolife If over 48 hours since you sent confirmation of accommodation you can ask Hayya to submit to technical team as priority, they do have a process, doesn’t seem like many in the support centre know it. Ask for supervisor if they can’t help and keep pushing to resolve over the phone

@mrdanlaws @roadto2022en @dumplingfolife I just received the approved Hayya card after multiple calls chasing. Seems like it’s just pot luck if you happen to get through to someone who understands your situation. Persistence is key. I got lucky, lots of people still stuck by the sounds of it.

@mrdanlaws @dumplingfolife Will do, just called Hayya again and they can ‘raise a ticket’ to expedite the request to technical team. Hopefully that works

@nicktinkercc @dumplingfolife I have the same issue …. My plan B, whilst not exactly economical, is to book a flight to Dubai via Qatar and have it out with them in Doha .. worst case I have to go to Dubai and wait for it to be sorted .. let me know if you find a fix ..

@easyJet Scary, awful service at the gate for Prague flight to MAN yesterday. Staff refused to check bag sizes (even though they were correct) & aggressively made everyone pay to bring on board, threatening to refuse people on the plane if they didn’t pay. How can I get a refund?
