@henricreates @nicolapps @Apple what if the “clear text” button was a dash instead of a cross? apple normally uses dashes to distinguish between “temporarily clear/hide” and “delete/dismiss”

Want to request a new feature that the @convex team should implement? Here's how you do it... > go to ship.convex.dev > you get 100 convex chips > request a feature (you must invest 20 chips to request a feature) > you can back requested features (with chips) > when features get shipped get 1.5x return on chips > spin the wheel weekly for chips Check it out

In macOS Tahoe 26.4 Apple added a new security feature to Terminal that warns users of potentially malicious pastes with a "Possible malware, Paste blocked" prompt. Here how it actually works 🧵

In 6-12 months when I finish Subway Builder I may open an indie game studio focused on map games with the other Subway Builder devs. If/when this happens what games would you like us to build?

This new Now Playing view in macOS 26.4 is genuinely the best new feature and is exactly what I've wanted for over 8 years lol (not kidding, I specifically wanted this view for that long)

I scored 12/40 points last night, ashamed to admit I know way more about systems and databases than I thought I did. To be fair I did just put bill gates and forking for most answers so maybe I just got lucky. 🤙

Kinda crazy how this one API design class I took in junior year taught me so much about product intuition and system design, and I'm only realizing now

@mikeysee @convex Should we disable this rule in ESLint plugin too? I have found one use case where it is useful (exporting the api.ts to use in multiple repositories - npx convex-helpers ts-api-spec)

A thing that has bothered me for a while with @convex is that for the longest time we have told LLMs via our guidelines that they MUST ALWAYS use returns validators on functions. I have long suspected this wasn't needed and just makes the code more verbose and difficult to refactor. So I decided finally to remove those guidelines and saved a couple of hundred tokens of guidelines AND to my surprise saw a nice bump in model performance across the board!
