This is the move in the modern golf swing that gives me the heebie jeebies (Marco Penge, left). I don't think the human body is meant to move like that. And if you freeze the swings of many of the Walker Cup players in the spot, it's even more pronounced. Scottie, on the right, does it a little bit but his shuffling footwork seems to quickly alleviate some of the force on his back. Golfers have always had back problems without chasing this much speed. IMO this is only going to get worse and shorten careers. But maybe the money is so good now that guys don't need long careers?
