@comicskirby @UpToTASK Comics have alternatives. The big 2 have all in one apps for 10 dollars a month. And you can just by digitally. All the other industries that don't deal with piracy as much are notorious for not paying their creators enough or cutting back on how much they pay creators.

@nicolson_adam @DeadlockAnon Yeah thats the point of why hes not that good. He can run and get away with shit but hes not a driving force in fights and he gets shut down pretty easily at the pace of the match. Also, yeah you should be buying 6400 counter items.

@DeadlockAnon like yes there ARE counter items that make it harder for him to stomp lane, obviously, and buying them really helps you out against him, but quite a few of these are mid-lategame buys that you get after the character has fallen off

@shin_kale_rider like she’s not had a genuinely great run in a LONG while, I really like Rucka’s first run but his second was a lot less impressive, Simone’s & GWW were both very solid but nothing groundbreaking and the other Post-Rebirth runs are middling at absolute best

@shin_kale_rider TK WW is IMO the worst run she’s had since Crisis, the only contenders really being the New 52 runs. Piccoult’s is pretty terrible too and Amazons Attack is so awful it wraps around into hilarious. Whereas AWW is, barring Historia, the best WW run since Rucka 2 I would say?

@kazoodingus like i think the show, especially in the first season or two, has a lot more to say about superheroes as CELEBRITIES and a culture shaped around them, and it's great! Homelander in the show is IMO way more interesting but the comic does the main cast so much better hahaha

@kazoodingus made fun of the boys comic for years, read it this week and like come on LMFAO its superhero parody isn't compelling in the slightest & often just really juvenile but its work w The Boys and Annie is leagues above anything in the show- Ennis' sincere moments are phenomenal
