@lilifying The switch and switch 2 feel like a huge return to form for Nintendo. They still do alot of casual stuff but the line up this Gen feels like it has alot for non casuals as well as casuals

Someone should make a video game that is actively harmful, not like its propaganda for dangerous opinions but just simply playing it somehow measurably deteriorates your physical/mental/emotional health like just booting it up and playing for an hour guarantees you ruin your day

Mixtape isn’t a great example of either.
It fails as art because it is a soulless, design-by-committee product. It fails as a game because it has no ludological elements. It fails at both because it is frictionless & relies on cheap nostalgia instead of challenging the audience.
