Such a fine line in sport between reaching peak fitness and the body breaking down 😭 It's maddening but also character-building 💪 A very un-timely hamstring niggle to start the new season and a rubbish run, unfortunately but so grateful for the support of amazing friends 🥹🙏🥰

Ran my first official half-marathon in four years earlier today and clocked a 1:41:35 PB at @bathhalf 🏃 Had hoped for a time between 1:35 and 1:40 but went into it feeling quite ugh and didn’t even know if I’d make the start line earlier in the week. So I’ll happily take that time, especially with big gusts and a mentally testing hill on the 13th mile! Appreciating how tough of a challenge @LondonMarathon is going to be next month. I’ve still got a lot more to learn! 📸 Graham Smith

My secret New Years' resolution was to do something that scared me so I've been attending some open show rehearsals for a musical theatre company these past few weeks 🤭 I haven't sang, danced and acted in public for 22 years but I LOVED it 🎉 and I even braved an audition...

...And the best part of all was making Ava proud 🥰 Her own stage musical performances inspire me and she's certainly cheered me up, bless her 💗

...on Monday (doing two solo songs, a dance and an acting scene) 🤯 I obviously made it harder for myself by going for the lead role (Dolly Parton's character in 9-5) 😂 I unsurprisingly didn't get the part but I'm really proud of myself for trying 💪
