Hot take. Hunter symbols though a bit flawed with how they are implemented (why do some tier tiers not drop them) are by far the best way they’ve tried to replicate the grind of fighting monsters of all sorts of tiers

Honest to God I hope Arkveld isn't Elder Dragon level because I just don't want any more man lmao. It was way better when it was just Deviljho, Bazelgeuse, and Kirin eater Rajang and now every other guy and his mother is "Elder Dragon level" and it's a bunch of hooey.

I wouldn’t say bigger/stronger though to be clear she’s defo strong physically What i would say is longer; Arkveld’s arms are super long Shes Much leaner which makes sense with her immaculate Agility and extra appendages meanwhile Nergi uses his to overpower and pin down prey

It is also makes more sense since velk=malz and Scorned=magnamalo
Also I think magnamalo loses to elders in past turf wars but is really awkward due to fact it is a reused turf mostly

@ES4613424423 Dragon element is weird, it's bordering straight up magic in MH. What Ark is pretty much dragonblighting whatever it's "sucking off" and instead of throwing it out as a volatile energy source, it repurposes it into its own power-up.

Magnamalo's strength is explained in-game as all the casualties of the Rampage feeding it and thus bolstering its capabilities in hellfire production / recovery.
Arkveld's rep involves having awesome anti-element weapon due to being an OC custom built in the mega milk factory.

Jang, Ahtal, Jho, Bazel, Magna, Espi, Jin, Arkveld, Zoh, Ukan, and Akan
Those are the non variant monsters I would consider 100% Elder tier. And over half of them are from 5-6th gen
Sadly power creep exists but let’s be fair. Arkie deserves being here more than Bazel

So I just go off just below elder tier like apex's
But scorned is elder level

@MHFZZEnjoyer Idk I think bazel is pretty well handled in this regard, like in his turf wars is pretty clear that his strength comes from the fact his a walking grenade factory which makes him able to repel stronger monsters
