@RestIsPolitics why is today’s pod jumping around missing bits and repeating bits? Editing feels all over the place… not the first time I’ve noticed this! I love this show but it’s hard to listen to when it’s not audio coherent… any thoughts?

If service is beneath you, then leadership is beyond you.

Surely we can expect more of our leaders whichever side they come from. I'm reminded of the Archbishop's pointed words at the Queen's funeral: "Those who serve will be loved and remembered when those who cling to power and privileges are forgotten."

I very very seldom comment on politics publicly, and the last few weeks/months have been diabolical, but I am honestly astounded & shocked that anyone thinks BJ is a credible candidate based on his track record of terrible character. (cont)

I have just finished The Siege by @policecommander - rather quickly as it happened! Gripping doesn’t really cover it. Fantastic story with so many powerful resonances and insights. I thoroughly recommend….

@edstetzer In 2011 we moved to take over @winvinchurch (planted 1994) from founding pastors after 20 years @VineyardBham (incl 3 yrs PT on staff & 9 yrs FT. In contrast to @AndyChapman48 we moved to the church knowing virtually no-one. Some reasons our transition went well: (cont)

@edstetzer @winvinchurch @VineyardBham @AndyChapman48 1) Plenty of pastoral experience incl 12 yrs as kids pastors + worship & general AP duties. 2) We had a year’s overlap which gave us time to get to know the church before taking over. 3) A clear call from God really helped as we uprooted family (3 kids under 11) to move city.
