Wow. The old maths building on University Gardens was a bit of a bunker. My first year English Lit Professor told us that ‘they have no windows because mathematicians have no souls’.

It looks like the @UofGMaths_Stats building got a little carried away with all its equations! ✍️ Graphics have been added to the building, which were generated by members of staff in the School of Mathematics & Statistics. They were asked to submit handwritten diagrams and equations used in their ongoing and current mathematical and statistical research. Such a creative way to represent the research done in the School and a great 'addition' to campus! 🤩
