🗣️ Vitor Pereira wants the focus to be on Forest and not worry about what any of the other struggling sides are doing in the Premier League.
#NFFC earned themselves a vital three points yesterday, beating Tottenham 3-0 on the road.

Our @AHunterGuardian nails it here. Football fans, Evertonians in particular, are not naive enough to think the Premier League will be fair and well-governed but the shamelessness of the double standards on display this week is still breathtaking

Cheats prosper..
Remove their achievements & deduct points.
A paltry fine is ridiculous & acts as no deterrent for any club wanting to do it again.
Sets a terrible precedent, absolutely appalling.

At some point, senior Premier League execs have to offer a proper explanation in public for their leniency towards Chelsea. They owe an explanation to fans of clubs punished more harshly. They owe an explanation to those clubs who did abide by the rules. They have to offer some explanation as to why PSR breaches are deemed far more serious than acts of "deception and concealment". Yes, these are the offences of a previous regime at Chelsea. But inconsistencies run through the PL's defence and their reputation is damaged. They can’t hide from a controversy of this magnitude.

PSR breaches get significant sporting sanctions. Undisclosed payments that involve “deception and concealment” get insignificant fines. Why? Column.

I think any progressive and ambitious Premier League club should now spend whatever they like and push the boundaries way past compliance.
Because if you only receive a paltry fine for adding players who materially helped you win trophies then it's worth it.
Was massively pro spending rules but clubs illegal spending prior to PSR isn't being punished at all and I bet those clubs are pissing themselves, all while clubs with the money to compete with them today are having to audit every fucking toilet roll, with promising home grown players being horsetraded like meat in order to comply with PSR.
Clubs and supporters should always support rules which protect our clubs from themselves at times, but dishing out fines that some clubs can find from the back of the boardroom sofa while directly profiting from the players "illegally" purchased makes a mockery of the system.

Interesting that in the Everton points deduction verdict the Premier League said “A financial penalty for a club that enjoys the support of a wealthy owner is not a sufficient penalty” and that “the requirements of deterrence, vindication of compliant clubs, and the protection of the integrity of the sport demand a sporting sanction in the form of a points deduction’.
Presumably the Chelsea fine (which ultimately is just a deduction from what billion dollar Clearlake will pay to billionaire Abramovich from the £150m held back at the deal date) is then neither punishment, a deterrent or protecting the integrity of the sport?
If I was an Everton or Forest fan would not be happy with this outcome.

Meanwhile Sheffield Wednesday will be docked another FIFTEEN points by the EFL next season for **checks notes** not paying £15m to the mental man who ran the club into administration and nearly extinction

📸Analysis of Ndoye's position in Nottingham Forest's disallowed goal against Fulham.
1⃣In the first frame (before the ball has been kicked), he is OFFSIDE.
2⃣In the second frame (after the ball has already left Williams' boot), he is ONSIDE.
👉Since we don't have the exact frame showing the moment of the first point of contact, it's impossible to give a final verdict.

VAR: What is it good for? Absolutely nothing.
My piece on a subject I swore I would never write about, but struggled to ignore after that Dan Ndoye disallowed goal - a moment stolen from all of us with #NFFC in our hearts. Get your hypocrisy here:
