@Sharifator Yeah you can find exceptions but the World Cup is systematically rigged for European Teams like Spain. So I find all the hate directed at the only team left in the tournament representing a country in the Global South to be quite exasperating.

@hdrnssr @nihalist___ The team celebrates football with fans every match too, yet nobody calls a stadium of 70,000 “entitlement.” A parade is the fans celebrating them, so why move it somewhere millions can’t reach? The reward isn’t the isolation, it’s the recognition. Those two aren’t opposites.
