Just launched “Good Air” for India. An app that shows you the AQI around you in real time. Now live on iOS. Thanks to @Rainmatterin and @Nithin0dha for providing an open platform OAQ that inspired and enabled us to create Good Air.

I used to think the same way but overtime I’ve understood the requirements that the FWD SUVs fulfil. They’re actually a perfect design for a lot of practical usecases a normal person has in day to day life in India. More headroom, high ground clearance, easy entry exit from car, plastic cladding on most scratch and dent prone parts of the car, smaller length compared to sedan, bonnet visibility and bigger tyres. All of this makes them a perfect companion for Indian conditions like Monsoon rains, potholes on roads, unpaved roads, mountain trips, city traffic, elder parents, tight parking spaces and more.

Is Honda 'cool' again. Most folks who never would consider the City and are now talking about it. It's all design.

@Madeira7i @SomChaterji See the people who are looking for comfort aren’t buying sedan cars, they’ve shifted to FWD SUVs already. Youngsters are buying sedan now and they’re looking for sporty and that also gets reflected into the current city sales. Virtus is selling 3x that of city.

@nihalnova @SomChaterji Why does everyone always want to”sporty”? City is not a sporty car. Its a comfort car. Its the most comfortable sedan in its segment. Passengers other than the driver matter

Dhandha culture has taken over the nation. A large percentage of new startups seem to be some variation of trading, brokerage, delivery, arbitrage or reselling rather than creating fundamentally new technologies or inventions. Have we optimized an entire generation for commerce instead of curiosity? Is the education system partly to blame for producing job seekers and traders rather than inventors, scientists and creators?

This is treated as cleaning the road in Delhi NCR!! The AQI even in summer is much higher than safe limits and no one seems to care about it.

99% are right about this comment 😭 Building in public is not what it used to be It has turned into A free for all of founders making 1:1 copies of other founders There’s been over 40 prayer lock Clones spawning in the last 3 months “It’s just not worth it anymore.” That’s what I would say if I was an NGMI Gooner You can copy us all you want But you’re just not us @maubaron and I are literally machines Not only do we work 24/7 We are also cutting edge on all fronts Of AI, UGC and distribution This month alone we tripled our revenue, 100% bootstrapped we are literally beating million dollar VC backed studios Scaling prayer lock is one of the hardest things we have ever done So when I see another X copycat I honestly just assume they are wasting their time No hate to Marshall, honest mistake on his end

@iamAnish Data matches, actually they’re showing average AQI for last 24 hrs which is almost the same as Good Air. But right now if we see the AQI is 500 because of high PM10 values @Tnpcbofficial

@nihalnova On the Good Air app, Chennai (Arumbakkam) shows an AQI of around 130 in the morning, but it spikes to around 500 at night. Is this expected? When I cross-checked on tnpcb.gov.in, it shows around 250 AQI for the same area
