@yacineMTB I have 0 window animations CMD+H/W work instantly. Not sure what animations you're refferring to. What linux is missing is smooth a11y zoom and trackpad scrolling. It just like android scroll 10 years ago. Pain to eyes and completely unbearable.

Alright. I've been using this thing for over 24 hours now TL;DR: The reign of macbooks are over. The year of the linux laptop is upon us - Battery life is basically more than good enough. I'm comparing this to my macbook m2 that I abused for years. - Screen is better. Much better. Going back to my macbook feels off - Its lighter, thinner. It fits in my laptop bag next *with* my macbook - Its audio system sucks ass. Like you can watch youtube videos but I wouldn't want to watch a movie or listen to music - Its keyboard is good - Its trackpad is good - It feels faster than my macbook. This is because the software isn't total dogshit The macbook hardware is mostly better (except for the screen). But not my that much. E.g. I have literally dropped my macbook onto concrete (multiple times). I'm not sure this would survive (there's only one way to find out!). But that said.. this thing could be worse in every way by 50% (modulo battery) and I'd still choose it over the macbook. This is because omarchy / arch linux IS REALLY THAT MUCH BETTER. I cannot DESCRIBE to you how much HAPPIER I am. I finally have a computer that I ACTUALLY CONTROL NO MORE FINDER NO MORE FUCKING WINDOW ANIMATIONS I legitimately think its over for Apple hardware supremacy for (good) developers
