hello gang. im looking for voice actors for a paid role. multiple roles are available, so if you're interested, drop your reel :)

Maybe this is a hot take, but requiring actors to actively participate in a Discord server to be eligible for casting feels strange to me. Casting should be based on performance, reliability, and fit for the role. Not on how present someone is in a community server. It also quietly filters out working professionals who simply do not have time to stay socially active in multiple studio Discords. Feels more like community growth strategy than casting practice.

@Zephyora_ Dedicating time to socialize isn’t part of our jobs as voice actors & shouldn’t be an expectation. Having that as a requirement pushes a boundary for me. I never audition for anything that requires being active in a discord server or even joining one to audition. 🚩🚩🚩all around

My advice for a lot of newer voice actors when it comes to the industry. Don’t try so hard to stand out. Just do the thing. There’s no crazy secret or any big stand out way of going about the industry. Just keep practicing, be present, make friends, and submitting auditions.
