@NEPreacher @ArunKrishnan_ @JDVance Krishna said to Arjuna, "As all surrender unto Me, I reward them accordingly. Everyone follows My path in all respects, O son of Partha." Bhagavad Gita 4:11

What a disgusting comment, and it's hardly been the only one along these lines. First off, the question was from a person seemingly to my left, about my interfaith marriage. I'm a public figure, and people are curious, and I wasn't going to avoid the question. Second, my Christian faith tells me the Gospel is true and is good for human beings. My wife--as I said at the TPUSA--is the most amazing blessing I have in my life. She herself encouraged me to reengage with my faith many years ago. She is not a Christian and has no plans to convert, but like many people in an interfaith marriage--or any interfaith relationship--I hope she may one day see things as I do. Regardless, I'll continue to love and support her and talk to her about faith and life and everything else, because she's my wife. Third, posts like this wreak of anti-Christian bigotry. Yes, Christians have beliefs. And yes, those beliefs have many consequences, one of which is that we want to share them with other people. That is a completely normal thing, and anyone who's telling you otherwise has an agenda.

@mirandadevine @grok Do Indians and other cultural groups often refer their parents' cousins as aunts and uncles?

I built a biologically inspired spiking neural network from scratch and it learned with %5 accuracy to do addition :) There is no backpropagation, no artificial loss functions - just spikes, synapses, and dopamine-like reward signals. it uses STDP -> "Spike-Timing-Dependent Plasticity" with modulated rewards This is super fun and I will try to get it to learn with better accuracy. I also need to better understand how all the moving parts fit together Link to source code in comment which has a detailed readme and html with animations explaining how it all works

@christopherrufo Yes, but those of us in the western parts of our timezones must suddenly contend with waking up in the dark, which throws everything off.

I know it's popular to hate on shifting the clock, but it's actually good. In the spring, I can come home from work and play outside with the kids until 7pm. And in the summer, I don't have to deal with 4am sunrises.
Andrew D. Huberman, Ph.D.@hubermanlab

How is everyone hating Day Light Savings this morning? It takes ~3-4 days to shift your clock. But the late-shifted first sunlight access (most people are now in office/school from am dark to ~noon) = plenty of mental & physical health drawbacks that persist until June. (See thread).

@hellokillian Sorry if this is a basic question, but I am not very experienced. I bought some tokens on OpenAI and generated an API key that I am using with Open Interpreter. Is it typical for a single query to use thousands of tokens?

Today I’m launching Open Interpreter, an open-source Code Interpreter that runs locally. Summarize PDFs, visualize datasets, and control your browser — all from a ChatGPT-like interface in your terminal. ● openinterpreter.com $ pip install open-interpreter $ interpreter
