Years ago, at KCDC, @nikmd23 introduced me to world of shrub-based mocktails. Last night, the elder #strausslet and I brewed our first. A pineapple shrub made with rice vinegar, white sugar, and some honey. This morning he added some vanilla and club soda over ice. Delicious.

@Saeris Hey hey! It looks like you were in the Codespace a beta, which featured unlimited storage. Now that Codespaces has GA’ed, you get 15 GB a month. New Codespace will be garbage collected if now used, but those old ones you have will need to be manually deleted.

Never got this message before GitHub universe happened. AFAIK I don't have a codespace open on any of my browser tabs. Don't want to keep running into this every month when I'm not even using this feature.

what the heck @github? I haven't had any active codespaces running for over a year, why have I been getting warnings about storage usage? where would I find the offending codespace and delete it if not from here? github.com/codespaces

@vboctor @amandaksilver From there you can use the devcontainer’s lifecycle scripts to automate sub module operations. #lifecycle-scripts" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">containers.dev/implementors/j…

@jimbobbennett Closing the loop here... If you run an org, you can choose if/who that org would like to cover the costs for Codespaces. This is great for employment arrangements, or any other time you'd don't want an end user to have to pay for a codespace.

Codespaces folks - had someone form a repo in an org I own and create a codespace. According to GitHub I own the codespace and it counts towards my limits. Seems wrong - it should be their codespace surely. Why should I 'pay' for a fork?

@warrenbuckley @film_girl @martinwoodward There’s more folks that can help you there than me alone in DM. But I also get it that sometimes there’s something you don’t want a public discussion on - so happy to help either way.

Hiya @film_girl and @martinwoodward do you know who or where I could get some help with Codespaces prebuilds for a dotnet C# repository? Thanks 🥰

@Dave_Maynor Yes to both! Though the tablet offers a much better experience with a keyboard and mouse….

Has anyone used #Github Codespaces yet? Does it work with a tablet or with Copilot?

@HamelHusain @americium @LostInTangent The Codespaces beta (before Universe, for the few who had access) had *unlimited* storage usage. Once Codespaces was GA’ed, the free allotment was set at 15 (20 for pro) GB/month. The team is working to make this clearer/better now! Thanks for the feedback.

I've barely used codespaces at all, just some small playing around since the Jupyter announcement Seems like persistent storage can bite you extremely fast, even when running official demo toy examples (that's all I ran)

@nikmd23 @github yes they are listed there... would be really helpful to be able to see them or have a link to see them from my settings and in billing... like "ok I have a bunch or resources now how do I clean them up?"
