Elon Musk, the Edison of our era, could revolutionize government through DOGE: Imagine $2T in savings, a leaner, smarter system, & a future-ready nation. If Elon makes the USA as innovative as Tesla, SpaceX, & X, it could reshape our country & world. ❤️🇺🇸 time.com/7177802/elon-m…

I recently sat down to talk with someone who has decided to vote for the federal Conservative Party. This person could not tell me what the Conservative Party is promising Canadians, should they win the next election. They were also not aware of the areas that they have voted down. They were not particularly a fan of Poilievre. Yet they believed that they could trust Conservative MPs over Liberal MPs. A huge reason for their voting Conservative was that past Conservative Parties have been better at balancing budgets and avoiding overspending. And they were convinced that the current Liberal Party has greatly overspent money and has plunged Canada into a level of debt that will be incredibly hard to recover from. Ironically, when I helped campaign for the Alberta NDP, I received similar comments from people who intended to vote UCP. Many people expressed that they didn’t particularly like Danielle Smith or that they didn’t really trust her. But they were convinced that the Alberta NDP had greatly overspent when they were in power, so the UCP had to be a better option. Are these common thoughts for people that intend to vote for the federal Conservative Party?
