@TerranDescent @elonmusk Totally fair take — the Cybertruck looks fun for light trails and daily driving, but when it comes to real off-road work, heavy gear, and not worrying about every little hit, a Ford makes a lot more sense.

@nilightled @elonmusk I completely agree I'd love to have one and have fun with it take it off road a little bit but when it comes to going off road and real off road and carrying a lot of equipment and not worrying about a branch and knocking off of mirror or something I'd go with a Ford not a cyber.

@elonmusk Yeah but it off-road ability is shit. It’s super heavy and burrows down in sand and soft soil. Which often times requires a Toyota Tacoma to pull it out. You can be fast but if you can’t drive on all terrain what good are you.

@elonmusk Cyber truck is cool as hell great for racing great Flex but as far as a work truck it's just not Tough Enough. I would love one for a daily driver or just going off-road a little bit nothing extreme.

@thecyberfam AS handle better and are slightly quieter. The handling difference is quite significant. I like KO3 for off-road, Cyber wheels for highway. Those heavy wheels that are jack of all trades, master of none I don't miss.

Volkswagen Touareg W12. A 6.0-litre W12 engine in a Volkswagen SUV. The same engine family you’d expect to find in an Audi A8 or any Bentley of the era with just two more turbos, not in something that can go off-road. That’s what makes it strange. A bulky SUV with a luxury flagship engine that feels completely out of place. It wasn’t built because it made sense. It was built because they could, then people started to demand it and VW kept making them for some more time. Heavy, complex and completely unnecessary. But that’s exactly why it stands out.
