Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, has said in a new decree published by the Ministry of Justice that the ministries of Education, Higher Education, and Information and Culture, along with the Academy of Sciences and the Administrative Affairs Office, must establish a joint committee to remove foreign terms from administrative and procedural documents. The Ministry of Justice is instructed to lead the committee. According to the decree, which consists of four articles, all government institutions are required to collect foreign terms and submit suitable alternatives to the committee.
