They're in prominent positions in Bollywood & several businesses. Dalits didn't demand a separate country. All they wanted is their rightful share and fair treatment from fellow countrymen.

I wish more people understood the terror disabled people face when dealing with housing insecurity, poverty and unsafe caregivers. Many in the community are forced to rely on abusive people for survival. It shouldn’t be this way. We desperately need more support & resources.

This is why a revolution never happened in India. For millions of oppressed, revolutionary praxis comes automatically as a response against oppression. They don’t need to be “educated to articulate their thoughts scientifically”. Mao didn’t go about “educating” Chinese peasants.
