In case anyone wonders how this panned out: a meaningless logged complaint and a suggestion that the seller claim on insurance. Mistakes happen but the lying bugs me: they invented a safe place that doesn’t exist, and left a valuable parcel outside my front door.

Well done @RoyalMail - agreed you’d delay my delivery as I requested, sent email confirmation , and instead have dumped it on my doorstep claiming that’s my nominated safe place - it is no such thing. Chaotic and dishonest.

@ninacaplan Dry vape (Pax). I had a rule: I could smoke as many spliffs as I liked, but only after I had done the dry vape. Basically made it as easy for myself as possible. It worked.

Day 1 of my attempt to cut down on vaping so I am not basically inhaling 50% vape fumes over the course of my waking life. I'm writing this in case anyone is going through similar and finds it useful, even if only to see what not to do. Also, might help me stick to it.

The key was to change the delivery mechanism (in my case spliffs) and with it, the association. Your addiction to the drug itself is much easier to handle once your association with the delivery mechanism has been negated.
