Dude, I have, from the beginning, pointed out that I don't believe in an ancient "lost civilization" and yet I have very cordial relations with so many of the alternative crowd. I regularly "fraternize" with people I disagree with. I don't care to hang out with massive hypocrites and liars, though. As for "guilt by association", that's precisely how you and your crowd act 24/7. Hell, the whole attempt to smear Graham Hancock with Donnelly is a perfect example. But what I just did, David, is show that by YOUR criteria you have chosen to work with people who disrespect the antiquities and sites of ancient Egypt. This isn't a case of me condemning you - it is a case of me showing that you condemned yourself.

David Miano simply can't win. Even when he thinks he's found a new lie to extricate himself from having hilariously exposed himself for being the biggest hypocrite imaginable, he still just exposes his awful behavior. Here we see him trying to claim that, while he does jump into ancient Egyptian sarcophagi, just like the folks on Brien Foerster's tour he was criticizing, his behavior wasn't disrespecting the monuments because he doesn't "bring groups of tourists into sarcophagi". That's an absolutely ridiculous excuse but it's also not even technically true. When he filmed himself in the sarcophagus in the Serapeum he was there with his cameraman, and his traveling companion on that trip was just outside, and all of them were technically tourists on that trip. So he definitely does bring tourists into sarcophagi. But even if we grant him, for the sake of argument (and ignoring all the monuments in Egypt's he's defenitely disrespected by rubbing his hand all over them, against the clear rules of the museums and sites he was in), he still ends up being the arch-disrespector of antiquities in Egypt. But the ideas of Dunn (and Anyextee, for that matter) would definitely qualify as "wildly false information", even by Miano's standards. These are precisely the two things that David has insisted result in disrespect to the monuments of ancient Egypt. And David Miano has chosen to work exclusively on his own tours with the guy who "bring[s] groups of tourists into sarcophagi" and "feed[s] them wildly false information". Thus David Miano, by his own criteria, has chosen to work with a man who disrespects the monuments and sites of ancient Egypt. But I guess it is only appropriate, given how he himself treats those antiquities.

@PastPaulitics Anyextee specializes in leading group trips, and David collaborates with him to make it easier to organize each themed tour. you shouldn’t unify or confuse their viewpoints. It’s like how I’m vegetarian, but that doesn’t prevent me from being friends with people who eat meat.
