In a country with 101 Million+ people living with diabetes, our traditional breakfast options are terrible. Glucose spikes with poha, upma, dosa, idli, paratha, thepla are insane! Even the concept of pairing carb option with everything is problematic. Like - Dal chawal, roti sabzi. Psychologically, we cannot eat one without the other. Tracking on a CGM for 6+ months was eye opening for me. Can share some data with food usually consumed & related glucose spike. I have them marked as “good”, “not very good” and “absolutely insane”
