why abstract? when i first created the @godthedogabs ip, it wasn’t meant to be tokenized but something to help me as a parent in teaching my kids the importance of resilience and self confidence. but seeing the strength of the community, the vision of being web2/consumer friendly and the pedigree of @LucaNetz and the @pudgypenguins ip backing it - tokenizing it made sense to reach more people and build something special. nothing has changed for me. The foundations for the ip have been laid. The goal is to be the shining success on @AbstractChain that makes people want to launch new ips or tokenize existing web2 ips on the green chain. the mission continues. nevr giv up.

g’Dog g’abs $GOD is my favorite none NFT native project/IP coming out of @Abstract_Eco ✳️ @nishseq has been here through the ups and downs on Abstract and still shows up everyday for about a year now. Really cool story behind God the Dyslexic Dog that ties back to Nish’s family. When the Markets heat up and on chain for the Green chains starts catching a bid, I think $GOD can take that #1 Spot from all Meme/Social Currency tokens. Happy Sunday and touch some grass 🐶

Think of it as low barrier to entry into the eco/community. For example, not everyone can afford a 6eth pudgy but they can buy a few bucks of pengu. Also, you may not have the nft if owning less than 1 but your fraction will be in demand by others wanting to get a whole token so there's value that way too.

I’m trying to better understand the long-term mechanics of $uPeg and would love clarification from the community. From my understanding, there are only 10,000 uPeg tokens total, each representing a NFT. But once price becomes a huge barrier to entry, what happens to the remaining fractional token holders? For example, if someone holds 0.4 uPeg and another holds 0.6 uPeg, neither can redeem an NFT unless they acquire a full token. Meanwhile, someone else holding 1.0 gets the actual NFT. The two people holding fractionalized tokens are short changed. I don’t see value in being a fractionalized holder. So if the project succeeds and demand grows, doesn’t that create a situation where many holders are left with fractions that may not have meaningful utility beyond speculation? You end up with a broken, fractionalized, weaker community. I am genuinely trying to understand the endgame mechanics and value proposition for fractional holders. Curious how others are thinking about this.

“Redraw the attached image in the most clumsy, scribbly, and utterly pathetic way possible. Use a yellow background, and make it look like it was drawn in canva with a mouse. It should be vaguely similar to how a 7 year old would draw but reality is a middle aged dad is the so called artist." output:

ok so I put my money where my mouth is yet again, ima call it now. I personally think @ChimpersHQ are in for an absolute explosive reprice at some stage, not if but when. the brands dominance on normal consumer socials is far to strong to sit at these levels. in 2022 I faded pudgy’s at 3eth when friend of mine was in my ear preaching “bro the ip and brand is too strong, this is a 20eth project….” later it cooked to 20eth. my gut said sweep back then but instead I held memeland captains to the grave. no way am I fading my gut yet again. I see chimpers shredding to minimum 3eth at some stage then likely higher each NFT cycle as the brand continues to scale. NFA, what would I know, um just a frog on the internet

MegaETH has 8-figure funding, an artificially inflated 500M TVL, and massive hype around its TGE Meanwhile, the network's top memecoin looks like this I don't want to be the toxic guy, but something doesn't add up here 😂 On Abstract, the network mascot hit 50M - and that was without DeFi infrastructure at launch (the team actually made a mistake by ignoring DeFi early on) and without the liquidity MegaETH has now

@shivst3r do you think memecoins that hang around can also build strong communities who believe in the messaging and stick through the worst or no special cases? Asking for a friend...

Memecoins taught this space a lesson it didn't expect. Everyone chased them because the money was fast, and for a while, it worked. New coin every day, quick flip, move on, nobody needed to care about the team or the product or the community because there wasn't one. But fast money leaves as fast as it comes. Now look around, where are those communities? Where are the group chats? Where are the people who said they'd "never go back to NFTs"? Most of them are either gone or quietly coming back. Because you can't fake what NFT communities built over years, which is the loyalty, the culture, and the people who stuck around through the worst market conditions imaginable and still showed up every day. Try building that around a coin that launched three hours ago. The sentiment is already shifting. The people who wrote off NFTs are slowly realising that nothing else in crypto comes close to the community infrastructure that was built here. NFTs.

A reminder of what CryptoPepes actually is. 1,100 genesis NFTs. Minted in 2018. Obtained only by mining DPEP and burning it to mint. No allowlist. No presale. Proof of work. Breeding later expanded supply to 5,496. Then it stopped. The cap is fixed. Predates ERC-721 norms. Predates $PEPE. Predates most of what people call "early NFTs."
