There's been some talk of data center CPUs today. What's the role of CPUs vs GPUs vs TPUs vs NPUs - and where does @Qualcomm fit in? I had to try to do a plain-English answer. (shot and edited on @Snapdragon ofc)

$QCOM has its work cut out to prove it can compete in the AI Datacenter space. A few months ago before $AMD got its OpenAI deal there was a lot of similar negativity about it as well. I’m going on the record that Qualcomm can win big by winning small. 1% of share is worth Billions. I think it can win a few percent of this massive market. It’s not directly going after $NVDA. And the company has the balance sheet and engineering talent to build a capable solution. The critics will chirp, but by mid next year, the deals will come and the same critics will be silenced or at very least they will be wrong. I’m not going to debate it now. It’s all nonsense and speculation. But mark this post that by end of 2026 there will be a multi-billion dollar net new business for Qualcomm. 👊🏻💪🏻😬

Which is better for #AI inferencing, @nvidia or @Qualcomm ? Saw this interesting paper published by @UCSD only a couple of days ago (Oct 24, 2025), benchmarking @Qualcomm #AI100Ultra vs. @nvidia #A100 for #LLM inferencing: bit.ly/4qwqObx ↗️Magnitudes lower power consumption for #AI100Ultra for same work load ↗️More granular & flexible resource allocation main reason for lower power consumption ↗️Difference visible across many #OpenSource #LLMs of 124 million to 70 billion parameters But, ↗️ Both AI100 & A100 are very old ↗️ $nvda #hopper #H100 / #H200 have been available in the market since 2022/23 ↗️ Next-gen #Blackwell #B100 / #B200 / #GB200 roling out now ↗️ $qcom today announced #AI200 avaialbility in 2026 & #AI250 in 2027 Although the difference in approach discussed in the paper is still relevant, it doesn't matter till the new chips are out in the market. But even then, probably, @NVIDIAAI #Rubin will be in the market... #AI #GenAI #Cloud #DataCenters @TantraAnalyst #chatGPT #Gemini

Apple celebrates introducing a new modem (C1X) that's faster than a reduced-spec modem from 3 years ago (X71M).

I believe a lot of people are getting the Google news wrong. Google didn’t wait to pivot. It has built Gen AI into its entire product portfolio and into its native search. Gemini will continue to improve and while traditional search may have peaked or may slow, Gemini embedded into a broad swath of experiences plus the rich search and ad data has the potential to capture new users AND more importantly has the chance to make Gen AI sticky on the Google platform. I’m way more bearish on whether Apple can execute on its AI strategy than Google. But…here we are. Mark it. Come back to this in a year or two. Google will be fine. $GOOGL $AAPL
