While waiting for the next Zelda game to hit, I couldn't help test what a modern version version of Zelda: A Link To the Past would look like according to the latest image models. Really hoping for a remake of this one while waiting for the next big title.

Been a bit slow at posting here. But did quick update to github.com/Nixarn/atmanfo… now you can easily add new @replicate image models without recompiling the app. There's an editable models.json, so adding gpt-image-2 only required this change.

I need help with roguelike vocabulary. My colony builder roguelike currently has "buffs". Fertilization – Wheat grows faster Adrenaline – Shorter melee cooldown Pilgrim – Units move faster on roads Martyrdom – Dying units release a shockwave They can be active or passive. They can be scientific or spiritual. Is "buff" the best term, or what could be better?

Otan Model Y RWD:n huomenna kahden päivän mittaiseen koeajoon. Mitäs minun tulisi testata/kuvata siihen liittyen? Premium mallin vertailu objektiivisesti luonnollisesti on yksi selkeä testi. Tuo tarkoittaa metelin ja jousituksen testausta identtisellä reitillä.

Here's the Area51 map with a cool night vision filter. Fun times before game engines! The basic idea was to manage your energy, sometimes see-saw back and forth to get up a slope and use hemohes as a turbo. Based on this Finnish skiing doping scandal.

I had @claudeai port my old c++ game I did when I was 17 (back in 2001) to the web. I had the source but not all assets, but claude extracted the missing pieces from the exe-file. Amazed at how it got it done, and accurately (with very little guiding)

This blew my mind! Got @claudeai to take the exe file of an old game of mine & made it into a runnable web version literally in 5 minutes! Getting all details right did then take another 2 hours though. Another game from when I was 17. When Kittens Turn Bad.

@replicate Google's gemini/banana image models are almost impossible to use sometimes. I keep getting "Service is currently unavailable due to high demand.". Anyway around this? I'd gladly pay 2x to get it working when properly

Apple needs to bring back Steve Wozniak to fix these idiotic missteps. It’s not only a terrible move against developers, it’s a move against kids learning to make apps and therefore a move against the future of Apple’s own platform.

Apple has quietly halted App Store updates for popular AI "vibe-coding" applications most notably the $9 billion startup Replit and mobile app builder Vibecode. After months of pushback, Apple is reportedly demanding major UX changes. Replit is being asked to force its generated app previews to open in an external web browser rather than natively inside its app. Vibecode was told it must completely remove the ability to generate software specifically for Apple devices.

Father & daughter gamedev update! Added a pearl fishing mini-game. Dive, open clams and search for pearls before your air runs out. Gotta say I'm feeling the scope getting out of hands. I'd like to get this more or less done this month, so I can move on to new indie games.
