From experience as a medical doctor, I have never seen anyone in 60s without children who is not depressed, sad or regretting. All of them, even if it was by choice or they had no control over it. Everyone of them I have seen is unhappy. If you have a chance to have a child, please do, period. Also if you hate children or men or women right now, it's fine, do hate them while having a child. You hate children? It's fine, don't get a permanent family control method like vasectomy or tying tubes, go for temporary ones like IUDs etc, you will wish you had a child, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but you will.

I always tell people to unlearn shame around sex. There's no award for not having sex- nobody cares. Purity culture is a product of patriarchy! Men don't also care! Also this just shows lack of information.
