your CPU stores 0x12345678 in memory as 78 56 34 12. the value didn’t change the byte order did. that’s little-endian. most modern CPUs (x86, ARM) work this way.

@MacMacs44 Northeast corner of Duval county (Jacksonville) Florida. There can be strong currents there, lots of jellyfish, and large rocks encrusted with sharp shells in the shallow areas. That's probably why swimming is prohibited.
