Happy #WomensHistoryMonth! Women across the housing justice movement continue to challenge barriers and build pathways to opportunity in housing. This #WHM, we honor their contributions and the progress they make possible! Here at #NLIHC, Renee M. Willis, NLIHC President & CEO, and @BambieHayes, NLIHC Board Chair exemplify the strength and purpose needed to challenge barriers to safe and affordable housing.

Our Managing Director, Allie, spent a powerful week in D.C. at the @NLIHC Board Meeting & Policy Forum. Check out what they were up to as they advocated on Capitol Hill and strategized with partners to expand disability-forward housing. bit.ly/3PdVCQl

There are only 35 affordable & available homes for every 100 lowest-income households in our community, according to @nlihc’s new #Gap report. This is why programs keeping people most at risk of homelessness off the streets are critical. We must continue building affordable housing while preventing people from losing their homes in the first place. Learn more: nlihc.org/gap/state/ca #HousingEndsHomelessness #HomelessnessPrevention

FALSE!! #NLIHC is hosting 300+ community leaders, policy experts, researchers, tenant advocates, affordable housing practitioners, and others for Capitol Hill Day tomorrow, March 13! These advocates came to D.C. to talk about housing! They're telling Congress to take action on the housing crisis that's impacting the lowest-income and most marginalized renters in America. And these are just the people who traveled to D.C. Others are taking action in their home states! #Forum26
