@AdamRackis Only to add some type information to existing JS projects until they can be converted. I find it much less ergonomic and pleasant.

@JohnCarmack @MattSidor My interviews could probably be more structured, but I’m looking for design sense and problem solving. I try to keep it conversational, figure out what problems they’ve solved and what trade-offs were required, and see how deep they can go into a familiar topic.

@danbenjamin On the Amazon Prime Apple TV app, one time it managed to show me an error message about HDCP instead of just spinning. I’ve had luck unplugging/replugging HDMI cables without having to completely restart the Apple TV.

@snellingio I haven’t used one of those in years, but it’s definitely a fingertip device, not a rest-in-your-palm device. Switched to a trackpad because of some wrist issues and haven’t looked back. Less precise but better gestures.

Since Node’s native esm is still slated for more than a year away, can I suggest the following:
Make @jdalton’s esm package the de facto standard. Everyone just use it. It’s great.
Node instead spends their time adding built-in support for TypeScript.

@snellingio I use Instapaper to not feel guilty about closing a tab I’ll never read.

Verifying myself: I am nlindley on Keybase.io. COuf6mHj3oZ_AOM8pBXzWYr2rGnIufZv9B2_ / keybase.io/nlindley/sigs/…

@joekarl Luckily to get much better than what I have comes with a price tag much higher than I can justify.
