Vince Lombardi said, "Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all the time thing. You don't win once in a while; you don't do things right once in a while; you do them right all of the time. Winning is a habit." What does it take to WIN? Here are the 5 ABCs of WInning. 1: A = ATTITUDE Everything in life begins with your attitude. Everything in sports begins with attitude. Your Attitude will determine your Attitude. Attitude also determines your response to adversity and failure. Things will go wrong. How will you react? Winners react differently. 2: B = BELIEF Belief comes from earned confidence. Do you believe you can win? Do you believe that you can overcome any challenge thrown your way? You must believe in yourself and your teammates. You must earn this disbelief or confidence through your hard work and dedication. 3: C = COMITTMENT Finally, competitive athletes must be committed. Committed players win. Committed athletes win. There are no shortcuts in competition. - Commit to the process. - Commit to the grind. - Commit to the day-to-day. Develop great habits and make a commitment. 4: D = DISCIPLINE Great players discipline themselves so others will not have to. There are no secrets to success. - You must put in the time. - You must create great habits. - You must grind it out every day. Winners can be counted on to show up every day. 5: E = ENERGY Finally, it all ends with Energy. Winners are positive energy givers. They make their teams better. Their energy is contagious and feeds confidence into the teammates. Winning teams bring positive energy every day. I am convinced that Leadership is about Energy. What type of energy do you exude? - Positive energy is contagious - Competitive energy is contagious. - Team-first energy is contagious. This is why teams consistently win. They have leaders who transfer this energy to others.

There are people you love that are going through something you don’t even know about. Make sure you check in on your people and let them know that you are there for them when it’s good and when it’s bad. Make sure they know when they feel hopeless, they have someone to talk to.
