🚨 HANTAVIRUS CEPA ANDES: LO QUE DEBES SABER 🚨 La cepa Andes es una variante del hantavirus originaria de Sudamérica, detectada principalmente en Chile y Argentina. Su reservorio natural es el roedor silvestre conocido como “ratón colilargo” (Oligoryzomys longicaudatus), que elimina el virus a través de orina, heces y saliva sin enfermar. 🦠 ¿POR QUÉ ES TAN PREOCUPANTE?
 Es la única cepa de hantavirus con transmisión comprobada entre humanos, aunque esto ocurre sobre todo en contactos estrechos y prolongados. Su principal vía de contagio sigue siendo ambiental (contacto con roedores infectados). ⚠️ DATOS CLAVE: 
• Letalidad aproximada: 30–40%
• Incubación: 1 a 6 semanas
• Inicio tipo gripe: fiebre, dolor muscular, fatiga
• Puede agravarse en 24–48 h → insuficiencia respiratoria grave (SCPH)
• No existe vacuna ni tratamiento antiviral específico 🧬 ¿CÓMO SE TRANSMITE? 
• Inhalación de partículas contaminadas de roedores (principal vía)
• Contacto estrecho con secreciones de personas infectadas (menos frecuente). 🛑 PREVENCIÓN: 
• Ventilar espacios cerrados al menos 30 min antes de entrar
• Evitar barrer en seco
• Usar guantes y mascarilla al limpiar
• Desinfectar con lejía (lavandina)
