@RockChalkBlog Everyone in here was thrilled and 100% wrong the year KU got Storr and Griffen. Last year Ku beat #1 undefeated Arizona with a bunch of kids you all said weren't good enough and would have been better without the "star". Only ? Mark is the center position.

KU feels like a slam-dunk preseason top 10 team and it seems like the fanbase is really sleeping on the roster. Think Bill Self has quietly put together a really solid team after a quiet start to the portal. If Stokes is a true alpha, this squad will go really far.

If it’s one last ride with Bill they gotta get a GM in to help with roster construction and some type of outside voices to help fix the offense. He deserves one last deep tourney run and I feel like these things are the only way for that to realistically happen

@JayhawkTalk Duke needed to go down first. Hurley is an entertaining villain, and as much fun as it is to hate on him for his antics some of his postgames are pretty damn funny. I could see him being a McEnroe style analyst down the line. Now time for Illinois to get the win for the Allies.

Kinda think it would be cool if the massive Jayhawk was remembered as the floor for the Self era. No clue what you’d replace it with though.

How long of a leash are you willing to go with Melvin Council? Shooting 15% from the floor now over his last four games. Dawson and Rosario cannot sit the whole game if Council is going to be this woeful. This is brutal

@RockChalkBlog Clearly Self wanted to play Kohl more for his energy and athleticism but with his shot not falling the whole season was difficult. From what I can tell was 35+% in HS from 3 so maybe he’ll hit 50% in March to get back to his average…

Kohl Rosario and Jayden Dawson playing so much less than Elmarko Jackson can be done at any time now. There’s just nothing happening there, regardless of how hard they tru to make it work. Hess brutal watch. Play the guys with higher upside.

@kucr8ton It was a hard enough foul with a player in the air I don’t fault the flagrant compared to what’s typical. Jamari’s the other day was an unnecessary upgrade though- not sure how it can be a flagrant if you got ball with both swipes.

I don't know how you look at that play and think that Elmarko Jackson WAS NOT going for the ball because he clearly was. No surprise from this awful crew.
