youtu.be/8BzNqEwNMB8?fe… Episode 2 — New Mexico Global Policy Machine What happens when local systems become connected to federal frameworks and global policy models? Episode 2 explores the growing relationship between education systems, ESG standards, federal funding incentives, administrative governance, and policy alignment in New Mexico. From social-emotional learning to universal childcare systems and coordinated policy language, this episode asks a difficult question: Are communities still shaping policy locally—or are larger systems shaping communities? This episode follows the structure through public records, legislative tracking, and policy frameworks. 🎙️ Episode 2: New Mexico Global Policy Machine 📄 Research based on open-source documents and legislative analysis.

I’m honored to have the endorsement of Lea County Sheriff Corey Helton. Sheriff Helton understands what’s at stake for New Mexico families. Public safety, border security, and standing behind the men and women in law enforcement aren’t political talking points, they’re priorities. Together, we’re fighting to protect our communities and bring strong conservative leadership to Washington. Join us at cunninghamfornm.com

🚨 NEW MEXICO JUST WENT FULL WILD WEST ON THE RULE OF LAW. Who makes the laws in this state anyway? The people elect a Legislature. Bills pass. The Governor signs. That’s how it’s supposed to work. But right now, the New Mexico Department of Justice is playing games with a brand-new law they helped ram through. “They” = New Mexico Emerge Alumni — the heavily trained products of the vast Emerge America network. Emerge America has placed over 100 alumni in elected office across New Mexico. They dominate the Democratic supermajority. And yes — similar anti-ICE detention bills like HB9 have been forced through in multiple other states where Emerge graduates serve as elected representatives. House Bill 9 — the “Immigrant Safety Act” — passed the Democratic supermajority and was signed by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham in February 2026. It bans new contracts with federal ICE for immigration detention and kills local-federal cooperation agreements. Effective: May 20, 2026. Federal DOJ sued immediately — Supremacy Clause violation, threat to hundreds of Otero County jobs. Then, just days later, Attorney General Raúl Torrez agreed to temporarily pause enforcement on the Otero facility in a backroom deal with the feds. Exhibit A: Emerge New Mexico alum Deb Haaland — now running for Governor in 2026. She’s receiving the majority of her campaign funds from out-of-state donors — California, Illinois power players, national networks. Over 86% out-of-state cash. And she’s far from alone. Many other Emerge New Mexico alumni serving in the legislature and on the 2026 ballot are pulling in substantial out-of-state money tied to national progressive politics. New Mexicans are left asking the obvious questions: Whose America are these Emerge candidates really representing?
Who do they answer to — the voters who elected them, or the national machine that funds and trains them? This isn’t local leadership. This is a coordinated pipeline: recruit → train → fund with out-of-state money → pass ideological bills → selective enforcement when challenged. The rule of law isn’t optional. Rural economies aren’t bargaining chips. New Mexico families, workers, and taxpayers deserve better than this theater. 2026 is watching. What do you think — is this representation, or capture? Drop your thoughts below. #NewMexico #HB9 #EmergeAmerica #RuleOfLaw #BorderSecurity #OteroCounty #WhoDoTheyRepresent

Gabe Vasquez supported efforts to reduce and redirect police funding during the height of the “defund the police” movement. Now New Mexico ranks among the worst states in America for violent crime and public safety. @cunninghamfornm offers a different approach. As a retired law enforcement officer, Greg supports the men and women in blue, believes in holding criminals accountable, and will fight to make our communities safer. New Mexico deserves leadership that backs the badge and puts families first. #BackTheBlue #GregCunningham #NewMexico #PublicSafety #NMPolitics

👀😵😵LOOK AT NEW MEXICO. We are worst in the nation!!! This (among many other reasons) is part of why I advocate so much for NM parents to consider homeschooling! Our public schools are doing an awful job. When I talk to local business owners, they tell me that these kids who are graduating from high school here cannot even do basic math (such as dividing 18 by 2). In my daughter's dual credit classes at NM State University, some of her classmates cannot read words like "porcupine" and their writing is nonsensical. It is insane that this has become the status quo here!
